Each thread can be used to make five leather equipments in game

Leather: Leather making is kind of like smithing, but the difference is that instead of making bbo gold weapons/armors from hard materials, you'll be making equitable light accessories for archers. The first item you can make with leather is Gloves.

Steps on how to make leather accessories:

1) - Get a Cow Hide from killing Cows.

2) - Go to a Tanner (on the f2p world, you can find one in the Crafting Guild or in a house in Al Kharid). Exchange your Cow Hide for a piece of leather. One gp is required for each exchange.

3) - Get/Buy a needle and a thread. You can get these two items in a Crafting shops (either the one in Rimmington or Al Kharid). Each thread can be used to make five leather equipments. The needle has unlimited use.

4) - Use the leather with the needle and then choose what kind of leather accessory you want.

Leather Accessories Note: To make Studded Leather Body or Studded Leather Chaps, you have to smith some studs from steel bars and use the studs on the item.

You can cut gems with a chisel which can be bought from a General Store. To do this, make sure you have the gem in your inventory when you are about to craft the jewelry.
